Marcy offers collaborative piano/accompaniment and ensemble coaching, with experience in several styles and genres of music, accompanying different instruments. She has performed music from Baroque to 21st century classical and jazz, performing with string instruments, brass, woodwind, voice, as well as ensemble work and musical theatre. She has significant experience in AMEB instrumental exams and assisting students to get the most out of their exam.
Having live, engaged musicians is vitally important to effectively performing and understanding duets and ensemble music. Marcy can provide coaching and direction for instrumentalists for exams or performances, testing examined skills such as aural and general knowledge, or recording performance rehearsals in her studio.
Marcy was a wonderful accompanist for my daughter’s AMEB exam. Very patient and helpful!
