Marcy offers collaborative piano/accompaniment and ensemble coaching, with experience in several styles and genres of music, accompanying different instruments. She has performed music from Baroque to 21st century classical and jazz, playing with string instruments, brass, woodwind and voice as well as experience in ensemble work and opera.
Having live, active musicians is vitally important to understanding and effectively performing ensemble work, including AMEB instrumental exams which require a pianist to accompany pieces. Marcy can provide coaching and direction for instrumentalists for exams or performances, offering testing examined skills such as aural and general knowledge, or recording performance rehearsals in her studio.
