About

Marcy’s goal is to see every student achieve their best in piano and music as a whole, giving personalised attention to their needs to develop musical skills, technique and creativity.

She strives to further her own knowledge, keeping up to date with modern teaching methods and materials, while constantly learning new music. Marcy can teach from beginners to advanced students for leisure or exams, ensuring students have a solid foundation in technique, theory and aural skills, as well as having the freedom and creativity of improvisation.

While Marcy has specialised in western classical music, she can teach a wide range of styles and music theory. Marcy has directed, arranged, premiered, and performed music at venues around Sydney, as well as writing and producing her own music.

She has ensemble experience playing for exams and recitals, including AMEB and HSC music exams, performing anything from Baroque to modern music.

Marcy is occasionally joined by assistant teacher/studio pet Priscilla.
Priscilla is passionate about sleeping, food, and music education.
